It Makes Sense to Add AdSense to Your Blog

Google AdSense is easy to install on a web page or blog and constitutes additional source of income without spending anything. You have to apply on-line for Google AdSense Program and generally approval comes from Google within two days. Those having AdWord account can use AdWord e-mail address and password for AdSense account also. After acceptance of application, Google confirms creation of your Adsense account thru e-mail. You get a code for AdSense text ads and another code for AdSense search. These codes are to be installed on web page or blog and within minutes the page will start displaying ads from Google, and a Google search bar. AdSense is available in dozen languages worldwide.

The code for AdSense can be placed on any of your web pages. I think placing it on your blog will give you distinct advantage because blogs have several points in their favor. They are easily indexed by search engines. Recently two of my simple blogs were indexed by Google within 2-3 days of submission of URL's which I think is quite fast. With Yahoo! it is even easier - just add the URL of your blog to your My Yahoo page and Yahoo! will start accessing it immediately. GoogleAlert is a free tool that can be used to know when your blog is indexed by Google.

You can have your blog up and running in minutes free of cost from several sites that provide this service. I personally use blogger.com. With blogs you do not need to worry about designing websites, registering domain name or hiring web site hosting service. You simply write your content on the blog and it is ready for publication.

An excellent article by John Taylor on creating blog is re-published here:
http://sanjay-j.com/art1ab33.html

With AdSense wide range of options is available - number of ads for display, shape and size of display, color schemes. More than 200 colors are available from which you can choose color for border, background and text. 24 pre-set color palettes are readily available; in addition you can have your own custom-palette to match with the appearance of your web page. Similarly, color schemes are available for Google search bar.

When the web page is opened, Google ads are placed which match with the content of the page and are highly relevant. Google finds right ads for the web page from 100,000 AdWord advertisers.

Several options are available for the ads that you would like to be displayed on your page. Ad filters can be activated which will block up to 200 URL's of your choice which you do not want to show on your page. You may like to filter away ads from your competitors. You can even choose your own default ads for display. Google uses sensitive content filters to prevent display of sensitive material. If you find that your page is not really getting relevant ads, it may be time to look critically at the content of the page, particularly the keywords used in text, links and tags. Little SE optimization of the page should resolve this problem.

Sometimes Google places public service ads when no target ads are available. To suppress public service ad, it is possible to specify your own image ad or HTML page ad which will appear in place of public service ad. This ensures that some ad is always present there. Or, if you like, the space reserved for Adsense ads can be made to collapse.

AdSense tracker is another useful feature which tracks the ads on your pages and generates report for you. The reports can be customized based on requirement. Typically reports can give page impressions displayed, number of clicks and click-thru rates. It is also possible to check earnings any time.

Web page owner can make use of all these facilities and try to get best results. With the help of Ad tracker lot of useful information can be obtained - which ads are doing well, which color combination gets better results, which location of the web page is best for showing ads and so on. This analysis can be used to improve traffic as well as click-thru rates.

With AdSense you have virtually nothing to lose. If you have not yet installed AdSense on your website you can perhaps give it a thought. Any free space which can be created on your website to accommodate AdSense can be used to generate additional income.

Finding Profitable Keywords For Your Google Adsense Campaign

No doubt that Google Adsense has become the number one player in making money on the internet. The latest claim that I saw advertised was an internet marketer that made over $19,000 in one month. What is their secret? It is simply writing articles and building adsense webpages that use high traffic, or even some traffic, that use profitable keywords. Not just any keywords, profitable keywords. You have to find keywords that your customers use and that your competitors do not use. Their are many tools available and this article will cover just a few of them.

WordTracker is the leading keyword research tool. SEO professionals worldwide use this tool to find profitable keywords. Wordtracker's suggestions are based on over 300 million keywords and phrases that people have used over the previous 90 days. (In other words, there is no "guessing" when you use Wordtracker. Everything is based on the keywords millions of people have actually typed into search engines.)

KeywordDiscovery is also a very popular keyword research tool and is a major competitor to Wordtracker. KeywordDiscovery compiles keyword search statistics from over 180 search engines world wide, to create what they call "the most powerful keyword research tool". It has been noted in a number of reviews that Keyword Discovery returns more words that are relevant than Wordtracker, Yahoo's or Google's suggestion tools.

There are many other tools on the internet that are worth mentioning. They can be used to supplement and verify the profitable keywords that you find using the major keyword tools. They include, the Google search tool, Yahoo Overture, SEO20/20, webconfs website keyword suggestions (you put your competitor's website URL in this one to determine the profitable keywords they are using), and many more.

The SEO20/20 search tool is the most valuable for determining monthly traffic for profitable keywords by search engine. It includes information on the Overture bid prices, total monthly search volume, estimated search volume for Google, Yahoo, MSN, Digital Point (WordTracker), and Nichebot, Google trends, Google Traffic Estimator, Google Suggest, Google Sysnonyms, and Adwords Keyword Tool. It also provides you with links to news searches, directories, blog searches, tag searches, thesaurus, dictionary

Google Adsense And ClickBank Pay Per Click Ads

One of the biggest trends over the last few years has been the explosion of websites built to take advantage of the Google AdSense system.

And when someone clicks on the AdSense ads that you display, a few cents tumble into your account. If you have sites earning money with AdSense you'll know why it is such a good idea.

Then there’s ClickBank. The hottest and most well known affiliate programs network. ClickBank is one of the major players in affiliate marketing online and show every sign of growing in popularity, strength and power in the market.

Clickbank has been around for years and has earned an excellent reputation online. They work as a payment processor and an affiliate program all rolled into one.

Now the most obvious fact with Google AdSense is that you have no idea how much you will get paid for each ad clicked. And while you can get occasional clicks worth a dollar or more, most bring you only a few cents. A more detailed version of this subject can be obtained by going here http://www.worldwidewebinformationcentral.com

Now if you find that the promise of making hundreds of dollars a day from displaying pay-per-click ads on your website is falling short of expectations, why not try an alternate method, that could double, triple, or even quadruple your website revenue ?

So, why settle for this handful of cents for each click that turned into a referral for someone else, when those same clicks can be potential sales for a product that would pay YOU 50, 60 or even 75% in commission?

To explain this in detail - if one of your visitors clicks on an ad on your site and ends up buying a $47 eBook, imagine how much better it will feel to get a commission of up to $30 rather than the few cents that you'd normally get for your efforts.

Besides, Clickbank marketplace includes over 10,000 eBooks and other downloadable products on all kinds of subjects, that anyone with a free ClickBank® account can sell or promote to make substantial commissions of up to 75% .

Clickbank also has a built in affiliate program and they provide you with sales and commissions reports and will send you pay cheques twice per month. But unfortunately, what Clickbank does not have, is a "user interface" department.

This is where CBengine comes in.

CBengine is one of the most powerful ways to monetize your website. It is a system that works similar to Google AdSense but displays products from Clickbank with your affiliate ID already embedded in the ads ? It is specifically designed to help you bring your site's revenue potential to it's max, a set and forget service designed to bring the best of ClickBank's high commission paying, downloadable products (and services) right into your content.

In short you can turn your website into a monster Clickbank affiliate money.

So, why try and make your fortune only from the PPC ( pay per click ) revolution where you normally tend to make much more than a few cents a day or perhaps a couple of dollars at best.

Is it not wise option to atleast try out CBengine content-relevant product matching system.

How would you like to have a smart engine that works similar to Google AdSense but display products from Clickbank with your affiliate ID already embedded in the ads ? What if you can easily turn your website into a monster Clickbank affiliate money.

Besides, affiliate marketing is booming and CBengine puts your website right in front of the hungry crowd.

CBengine as mentioned earlier is similar in the way it works compared to other contextual ad delivery systems ( like the ones used by the major search engines ), but with one major difference

The Google Adsense Report And Why The Program Is Original

Understanding the Google Adsense Report

When you log into your Google Adsense account, you are automatically taken to the page where you can view all your Adsense activity. On the Reports tab, you'll see "Today's Earnings." This is the approximate amount you have earned today in your Google Adsense account. Earnings are not final at this point and could be adjusted for invalid clicks or fees.

It's interesting to look at the breakdown. As you can see, Adsense for Content, which refers to the targeted ads appearing on the pages in which you have written content, is listed first. Here you will see the number of page impressions listed in the first column. While a page impression is generally the same as a page view, that is not always the case. For a more detailed definition of a page impression, see Google Adsense support, click on Your Adsense Account and then click on Your Adsense Report.

Next, you'll notice the number of clicks. This refers to the number of times "your ads" were clicked on.

Page click through rate or CTR is in the next column shown as a percentage. It represents the percentage of the time an ad was clicked on after viewing your page.

Page eCPM which stands for effective cost per thousand impressions. It is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of page impressions in thousands.

Don't be intimidated by these statistics. The bottom line, your earnings, is what really counts. As you become more familiar with Google Adsense, statistics will become like second nature. First, just start.

Google AdSense: Earning from Online Advertising

Google AdSense is reinvigorating the online advertising landscape. After a few years of drought, people can earn money from advertising again this time, real money and not just pittance barely enough to cover hosting fees.

The dot-com crash brought along with it the fall of online advertising, particularly for small publishers. Rates plummeted to all-time lows. Whereas small publishers could earn as much as $50-100/cost per thousand (CPM) in the mid-to-late 1990s, ad earnings precipitously dropped to $0.20-0.60 cents per thousand impressions in 2002. Site owners had to scramble to find other means to earn a living from their Web sites!

What is AdSense?

AdSense is a text-based ad delivered by Google, today’s leading search engine. The ads come usually in the form of the leaderboard (728 x 90), standard banner (468 x 60), skyscraper (120 x 600) and inline triangle (300 x 250). The colors of the ad box and fonts can be customized to fit or contrast with the site's color scheme, whichever the user chooses..

What sets this program apart from other text-based ads is that it delivers ads that are contextually relevant to your audience. It uses an advanced and proprietary technology that determines the content of each of your site’s web pages, and then delivers the ad based on that content. Just as readers of special interest magazines welcome ads on topics of interests to them, the visitors of special-interest web sites are happy to see ads relevant to their craft, business, hobby or interests. A Web page on home business would likely receive targeted ads on “starting a business,” while a music site may receive targeted ads on music CDs. The ads automatically adjust for each page’s content.

The underlying thinking is an ad targeted to the audience of a Web page will generate higher response. Ads placed in context ultimately become a content point, seemingly blending with the content of the page that the user is visiting. This in turn increases the ad’s relevancy. The more relevant an ad is to the page, the higher its effectiveness and click-through rate, and the greater the income potential. That means more click-throughs for the advertisers, and more dollars for the publisher!

How will you benefit from AdSense?

One Internet guru described AdSense as a “money machine where you simply sit back and watch the money roll in.” And for the right Web site, AdSense is proving to be a most welcome cash generator.

Free and easy to join and implement, AdSense offers Web site owners a source of ongoing advertisers that will never run dry (well, at least for now). You now have access to a new set of advertising spenders and marketing companies who have advertising budgets to work with.

Instead of spending your time hunting down your own advertisers, you can focus more in creating solid content for your site. You can work the content of your sites without worrying very much about the costs of self-publishing information on the Web.

The reduced workload and potentially good income are enough incentives for small publishers to apply in droves to the program.

Are you right for AdSense?

Alas, AdSense is not for everybody. Just as the initial euphoria has leveled off, complaints of AdSense’s inability to serve them the right ads or any ads at all can be heard on various discussion boards and forums. Some sites complain of not getting any relevant ads. Worse, some are getting ads from charity organizations, which are non-paying ads.

Who is Google AdSense especially suited for? It's EXCELLENT for those who already have, or for those who want to start, high quality, theme-based content sites, with excellent keyword-focused content pages. Better yet, your site must have keywords where advertisers pay a premium to reach. That can range from a wonderful little hobby or passion site to a full-blown information site by a major company.

Your income will also be commensurate to the level of traffic that your site generates: the more traffic you have, the greater the potential income. A site that attracts 1 million impressions has the potential to earn more (even at a 2.5% clickthrough rate) compared to a site that attracts 1,000 impressions per month unless the smaller site has higher paying keywords and better clickthrough rates. Higher clickthrough rates, however, are subject to tighter scrutiny by Google. A site suspected of fraudulent clicks can be kicked out from the program.

How long will AdSense last?

Lessons from other forms of advertising (banners, interstitials, popups and popunders) show that users have learned to ignore advertising on the Web.

However, text ads like AdSense are benefiting from a novelty effect. It is still so new that users haven’t yet learned to ignore them. According to Jakob Nielsen, users in the long-term can “develop box blindness, ignoring little text boxes just as they've long ignored banner-shaped areas of the screen.”

Nonetheless, Google AdSense has brought back to small publishers the opportunity to leverage their content through advertising. It is bringing an excellent earning stream to some Web owners, with monthly revenues reaching the thousands, even more. Not since dot-com "boom" times had the Internet world seen CPM and click through rates this high.

Success with Google Adsense Program

Google Adsense is the hottest income generating program on the Web today. The program has given web publishers a chance to monetize their websites by displaying contextually relevant text advertising.

One of the best success story with Adsense is Markus Finch, who operates the immensely popular online dating website PlentyofFish.com . PlentyofFish.com’s business model is different from the subscription based model used by the big online dating websites. Instead of subscriptions, Markus relies on advertising, specifically Google Adsense to derive income from his website. In a post at Webmasterworld.com, Markus reveals that he has earned $1 million from Adsense alone in 3 months, and the lessons he shares are:

1. Understand your traffic and how it could affect your keywords.
2. Create sites that will bring in repeat traffic.
3. Have your users create content and lots of it.
4. Do not enter markets with a lot of competition monitized via adsense.
5. Keep your site simple.
6. Learn from various forums and if people are not talking about your market, there is a good chance you will make money.

Markus’ website has an impressive Alexa rank of 1,407. What is more impressive is that the site is only a two-person operation, with Markus getting help from his girlfriend unlike his big competitors run by big corporations (e.g. Viacom owns Match.com).

You Earn More Money with Google Adsense?

You want to make money online so you set up a site and add a few affiliate links in it. But wait, you also read online that almost everyone who has a website are having google adsense ads on it. It sounds so good because when ever someone clicks on the ads, you get paid for it. Now, how easy is that for earning money online.

So you sign up with Google adsense and then you place the code that they give you and hope to make some excellent money.

So what are the google adsense success secrets that other successful webmasters use to make some great money with their website?

Placing the google adsense ad in the right spot of the page is crucial to how much money you will make. It is very important that you place the ad above the fold (at the top of the page) on your website in order to get the most clicks. It is called a high click through rate.

What this means is that you will want to place the ad high enough on the page so that your visitors do not have to scroll down to see the google ad.

By placing the google adsense ad above the fold, there is a greater chance that people will click on the ad. The reason for this is because the majority of your visitors will not scroll down the page and look at it. A lot of the time, people look over the top part of the page without worrying about scrolling down. If you place the ad higher, you have a better chance to get clicks from your visitors.

The way you blend the ad with the rest of your page can determine if the ad is visually appealing or not. It is very important to make the google adsense ads look like your site and not another ad. You can do this by making the font and color of the ad's text similar to the rest of the page. I also recommend that you blend the background of the ad with the background of your page. It should basically have the same color.

Google gives you the option to go into your account and customize your ads in different fonts and colors. This will help you blend the ad to your site. Make sure that you don't use the banner ads on your site because this will decrease your click through rate.

Placing banners and picture ads on your site may seem more appealing and much more professional, but this will make people avoid those ads and look for something else on your site or worse, they may leave and never come back.

Doing the above recommendation can make the difference between success and failure with google adsense. If you sit down and do all of these suggestions that are listed above and generate a good amount of traffic to your website, having success with google adsense should not be and will not be a big problem for you.

Things you should not do with your Google adsense

Things you should not do with your Google adsense.

There is no question that you can make some good money with Google AdSense, but you are setting yourself up for disaster if you make any of these Top 10 mistakes!

1. Do not use fake information when opening your Google AdSense account.

Google says that is a no-no and they will cut your account off and keep all the money you may have earned. Besides, trying to hide your identity can cause serious problems with the I.R.S. or whoever your tax authority is.

2. Do not hack or modify Google AdSense code other than to change the parameters that Google authorizes you to change.

Any attempt to bypass Google's built-in algorithms not only poses a danger to the integrity of the network, but it threatens the financial model under which Google operates You are not dealing with some Mom-and-Pop company here, and Google has the legal muscle and deep enough pockets to drag you through every court in the land if you damage their business with your hacking antics.

3. Keep AdSense ads off your registration, confirmation, and all "thank you" pages.

Do not ask me why you cannot put your ads there. It makes sense to me that those would be wonderful locations. Google thinks otherwise, however, and doing so is a hanging offense according to their Terms of Service.

4. Do not display AdSense ads and a competitor's ads (like Overture's) on the same page at the same time.

That just makes plain good sense. Google does not demand 100% SITE loyalty from you, but they do insist that their own ads not be cluttered up by offerings from their competitors.

5. Don't "beg for clicks" or provide any incentive for clicking on your Google AdSense ads.

This is a biggie and you see this rule violated all the time. Any of the "get paid to do stuff" sites that put Google ads in the member's control panels are walking the plank and they do not even realize it. Even those sites with the polite little messages asking you to "help keep my site running by clicking on our sponsor's ads" are asking to be cut off if those happen to be Google ads.

6. Never click on the ads running on your own site, even if you are genuinely interested in the product or service and are thinking of buying it!

Nothing screams FRAUD louder than a webmaster running up his or her own click counts by happily clicking on ads from their own site. The Google Gods can track this activity and it will not be long until you find yourself getting a goodbye note from their fraud team.

7. No misleading labeling

Google is very specific about what text can be placed around their ads. Their Terms of Service state: "Publishers may not label the ads with text other than 'sponsored links' or 'advertisements.' This includes any text directly above our ads that could be confused with, or attempt to be associated with Google ads."

This is to keep visitors from becoming confused and barking up Google's tree, when they clicked on an ad that led to a porn site instead of the recipe site they were expecting to visit.
8. Avoid keyword spamming and other divisive tricks

You may be tempted to buy one of those "generates thousands of key-word rich pages in seconds" programs that are so popular these days but I will tell you this: Their days are numbered. Google is wise to such shenanigans and they will be hot on your trail. Other prohibited gimmicks include:

o"Sneaky" page redirects that send a visitor off to a different site then they were expecting to visit.

o Multiple sites, domains, pages, etc., which have duplicate content.

o Hidden text or links of any type.

o Excessive outbound links on any page. Google recommends no more than 100. I would keep it way below that.

o And here is a nugget of wisdom straight from Google's mouth: "Do not participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or "bad neighborhoods" on the web as your website may be affected adversely by those links.

9. Don't advertise anything on Google's prohibited items list.

It's a lot shorter lists than PayPal's or eBay's, but it includes a lot of the same stuff like hacking/cracking content, porn, illegal drugs, gambling sites, beer or hard alcohol (I guess wine is OK), weapons, and the other usual stuff.

10. And the 10th dumbest thing NOT to do with Google AdSense is to let the other nine things stop you from running an honest site that's designed to make the most out of this very profitable opportunity that Google offers!

If the advertisements are related to the topics being discussed on a certain web page, then your readers would most probably click on these ads whenever they are looking for a certain product. Keep in mind that the more clicks you get, the higher your earnings would be. However, in order to have relevant ads on your content pages, you have to pay particular attention to the keywords that you will use. According to Google Adsense tips, you need to use only one or two keywords or key phrases on each of your page.

If you do this, then most likely you will have relevant advertisements posted on your content pages. On the other hand, this advertising program is not recommended if you are only in the stage of building a web site. You have to wait until your site is finished and you already have inbound links. Once your page is getting traffic, this is the time that you add Adsense code to your site. If you rush things, you will not earn any dime anyway. So, wait until your site is already getting traffic. Keep in mind these basic Google Adsense tips so that you can avoid making big mistakes in this Google advertising program.

Pay Per Click and Google Adsense - How To Build Your Website Profits With Targeted Traffic

With pay per click and Google Adsense you can build your affiliate marketing business with targeted traffic. This has become a very effective way to earn online profits. And if your website is rich with original quality content and you want to earn more profit, you can use Google Adsense to drive your profits.

Why Use Pay Per Click To Promote Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is one of the simplest and one of the most effective ways to earn profits online. Online retailers can benefit from affiliate marketing programs, because affiliate marketing actually works for merchants as well as it works for the affiliates. Many affiliate programs pay up to 75% commission.

There are many different methods on how the merchant can compensate the affiliate for their services, and for the webmaster, these methods simply are a great way to make cash using these types of services.

Here are the 3 types of compensation with affiliate programs:

1. Pay-per-click

2. Pay-per-lead

3. Pay-per-sale

The pay per click method is the method most preferred by many affiliates, for their site’s visitor would only have to visit the advertiser’s site for them to receive money if the visitor clicks on one of the ads. In general this is how Google AdSense works. The traffic is targeted with the right type of original content on the webmasters website.

The other two methods, (pay per lead) and (pay per sale) on the other hand, are sometimes preferred by merchants, as they would only have to compensate you if your visitor becomes one of their customers or if the visitor would actually purchase their products or services.

Building large profits with affiliate marketing programs does not depend so much on the compensation method as it does on the targeted traffic generated to your site. A website that can attract more targeted visitors would generally have the greater chance of profiting in affiliate marketing programs.

How Does Google Adsense Relate To Pay Per Click?

Google Adsense is actually an affiliate marketing program in its own right. With Google Adsense, Google acts as the intermediary for the affiliates and the merchants. The merchant, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide text ads pertaining to their products and services. These ads, which are actually links to the advertiser’s website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by people who have signed up with the Google Adsense program.

You can find some aspects that are similar with Google Adsense and other affiliate marketing programs and you can also see a lot of differences. With Google Adsense, all the person has to do is put some code on their website and Google takes care of just about everything else.

The ads that Google places on your site will generally be targeted and relevant to the content of your site. This is an advantage for both you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would more or less be interested with the products or services that are advertised.

Google AdSense Slow To Report

Webmasters wonder why their earnings reports from AdSense aren't working, and so is Google.

Something's amiss with AdSense, as publishers told Google they have seen problems with the usual reports from the service. Numerous reports at the AdSense help forum cited lack of updates or wrong earnings in the information being provided from the program.

Google responded from their Inside AdSense blog about the issues. "Our engineers are currently investigating the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible. Please be assured that your account data has still been tracked, so this issue will not affect your earnings or payments," they said.

To help webmasters keep up with Google progress on these problems, Google opened a new tracking page. The Known Issues page tracks AdSense issues, and Google's suggested workarounds when available.

No new updates about the reporting issue have made the page as yet. Complaints on the AdSense Help forum continue to roll in, as webmasters find discrepancies in their earnings as well as seeing clicks that apparently generated no page impressions or click-throughs.

Problems appeared to hit AdSense publishers in multiple regions. Complaints rolled in from the UK, Canada, India, and the Czech Republic as well as the US. Since Google has not updated the status of the investigation for over 12 hours, the issue could be much more serious than they revealed.

Google Adsense

If you have a Website up and you are not now using Google Adsense then you have probably had friends and relatives tell you it's something you should look into. Okay, what is Google Adsense? How does it work? Will it work with your website? Is it right for you?

What is Google Adsense?

Simply put Google Adsense is a sophisticated software application that selects and displays commercial advertisements on your website. Google contracts with advertisers who supply them with a variety of types of ads they want put up on the web. Google software searches the web for appropriate sites and puts up and manages the ads. So how do you know what kinds of ads might end up on your site?

How Does Google Adsense Work?

The assignment of ads to your site is far from random. There is a complex search engine within the Google Adsense application that scans the pages of your site for frequently used words -- keywords. The engine also scans the layout of your site for white or "open" space, formatting, font sizes and so on. The language of your site and the location of visitors who come to the site -- traceable via the user's IP address -- are also taken into account during the ad selection process. The ads ultimately placed on your website will be relevant to the content of your site and the geographic location of your visitors. Suppose you are a life-long dog trainer who has put up a site on tips and techniques for the training and general maintenance of dogs. You rarely, if ever, have Asian visitors. The vast majority of ads that will appear on your site will relate to products and services of interest to dog enthusiasts -- and you won't see any ads from a dog food manufacturer in China. The ads will also be appropriate to your sites layout -- using mostly sidebars. You should know, however, that if you have an e-commerce site -- if you are selling products on your site -- you may end up with ads from competitors. But these can be filtered.

When a visitor to your site double-clicks an ad they see there, an electronic cash register at Google "rings" -- the advertiser pays Google a fee for each visitor redirected to their site from the ad on your site. And Google turns around and pays you a portion of that fee. Google Adsense gives you the opportunity to generate revenue without doing anything beyond maintaining a good website -- which you are probably already doing. So why in the world would anyone not want to use Google Adsense? Especially since the service is free -- all you have to do is go to http://www.google.com/adsense and sign up.

Is Google Adsense Right for You?

If the only visitors to your site are your grandparents, parents, and a smattering of friends, Google Adsense is probably not for you. The key determinants of success with Google Adsense are quality and quantity of content, and number of visitors to the site. Obviously the two go together -- interesting and informative content attracts more visitors. If your website is not quite there yet, look to improve the content on your site. In this game, Content is King. Boring, stale, and out of date content generates fewer and fewer visitors. There are sites available on the net to help you generate more traffic as well. Good luck with Google Adsense!

Tips on Getting Relevant Adsense Ads

If you own a website, you can generate a little extra income by displaying Google Adsense ads on your pages. So for instance, if you have a website about model trains, you can get Google to show ads about model trains. If someone clicks on the ad, you get money.

One of the biggest problems with the Adsense system is that you don't have any control over which ads are displayed. Google automatically analyzes your page and shows the ads that it thinks are relevant to your page content.

The problem is, sometimes Google guesses wrong. Sometimes the Adsense ads that Google chooses to show have no relation to your site.

For example, I once kept getting an ad for deodorant on my site for bird feeders. I later realized that the brand of the deodorant was Dove—which is also a type of a bird. Ok, I can see how an automated system might make this mistake.

In trying to figure out how the big Google brain works, I discovered two things.

Ads are Influenced Strongly by the Page url
On another website, I experimented with seeing what kinds of ads show if I rename the page, keeping the content exactly the same.

Not only did the ads change immediately, but I noticed that even when I made very small changes to the url, it affected the types of ads that were shown.

When I had the words "kinkadechristmastrees" in the url, a lot of the ads had to do with trees:
tree pruning
buy hickory trees

When I changed the url to kinkadechristmas.html, I got ads relating to church:
Christian dating
God at work
St. Brigid's Parish
church yellowpages

etc.

These results make you wonder if Google reads the url from the right to left.

I also noticed that Google gets smarter as time goes by. Later looking again at the kinkadechristmastrees.html page, I now saw these types of results:
artificial Christmas trees
outdoor Christmas trees
Home and garden cheap
(and yes, there was one Thomas Kinkade Christmas ornament ad).

Google Associates Ads with a Specific Url
I have another website about dolls. When I first created my Christmas tree site, I copied everything from the doll site and then edited the content.

Unfortunately I had the Adsense code on my pages when I copied them. I noticed that the Adsense ads on my Christmas tree site all had to do with dolls no matter how many times I hit refresh.

I tried many things to get the Google ads to be more relevant; removing the code and then adding it back again, getting new code from Google under a new channel, etc. Nothing worked until I made a small change to the page url. This caused Google to re-evaluate the content.

Eventually I suppose Google would have updated correctly, but that could take a long time and I wasn't willing to wait. One forum post said that a guy had the wrong ads on his site for a week.

I noticed that the ads were correct on the other pages of my site. So this leads me to believe that once you add the code to a page, Google "marries" the ad content with the page url, at least initially.

Lessons Learned
The things I've learned about getting Adsense ads to be relevant are:
  • Try to make your page url relate to the ads you want.

  • Don't put your Adsense code on your page until it is totally set up as far as your content, meta tags, etc.

  • If you did happen to get Google ads before you were totally set up and they are not relevant to your page, change your page url to reset them.

How Google AdSense is Generating Huge Regular Checks For Hundreds

It is no longer a secret that many workers are apprehensive about their jobs given the state of the world economy. Not a day passes before we hear of a major company laying off workers to the tune of thousands. Those that are still working wonder whether their company will soon follow suit. These fears have caused a hurry as people scurry to look for other sources of supplementing income. One option of supplementing your income is off course to get another job. This however may not be the ideal way. The smarter way is to leverage the awesome power of the Internet.

While the Internet provides a lot of ways to supplement income, one of the easiest ways to do so is through Google AdSense. The AdSense publishing program was started by the giant search engine giant as a way of connecting advertizers and publishers in a revenue-sharing arrangement. The advertizers sign up for Google AdWords and pay for their ads to be published across the vast Google network. The publishers on the other hand set up websites and blogs across the Internet and sign up to become AdSense publishers and are then furnished with a javascript code which they add to their site. If someone clicks on these ads, the publisher, in this case you, gets paid. The price of the clicks varies.

Google AdSense has actually created millionaires
As simple as that sounds, there are people that make millions of dollars in AdSense revenue every year. Others easily make a six-figure income all on autopilot with least work on their part. Among them are Armand Morin, Mike Filsaime, Ewen Chia, Shoemoney, Jason Calanais and others. These are people who consistently bring in millions in AdSense revenue each year using techniques so easy anyone can implement them.

Waive your boss goodbye-AdSense will now pay you a regular income
What would you do if you knew of a system which can pay you twice or even three times what your employer pays you and does not demand any work from you? Google AdSense is just that system. You can be paid a regular income of $1000, $3000, $5000 and even more a month just by implementing simple techniques which anyone regardless of experience can set up. People such as Jason Calanais, John Reese, Mike Filsaime have made millions online using these same techniques. Thousands more are earning massive incomes and even quitting their current jobs to pursue Google publishing.

The right strategy is what counts
While many are regularly receiving huge supplemental checks through AdSense, many publishers are also struggling with very low income. They set up websites and never see more than a dollar a day. They eventually get frustrated and give up.

Getting regular impressive income using AdSense is all a matter of the right strategy. While Google states that is it just a matter of adding Google ads to your web pages, there are techniques which if implemented can translate into impressive results. These techniques are employed by the big names we mentioned earlier.

Make Money From Blogging With Google AdSense

Google AdSense is the most common way of making money from blogging. The simplicity of copying and pasting some code to your site means that almost anyone is able to start earning money from their blog as soon as the site is up on the internet.

However, to get the most out of your AdSense placements, you need to concentrate on a few "tricks of the trade", so that not only are you getting the highest number of visitors clicking your ads, but that those ads are paying you the best financial return possible.

AdSense is a Google ads system that will place ads on your site or blog, in any area where you think they are best suited. The ads will be relevant to the content of your site, which is done via Google's search resources.

These searches will scan your site and the content on the site, to determine which ads best suit your subject matter. An example of this would be where you might have a blog that discusses the differences between "Aquarium Fish" and "Tropical Fish". Google will configure your AdSense ads to show links to other sites and products, which relate to "aquariums", "fish accessories", "training books" and a whole lot of other things that are related.

With AdSense, your revenue is basically automatic. There are some Terms & Conditions regarding the placement of ads on any site, and these can be found here. They are not too restrictive, but in order to not have your AdSense account interrupted, or suspended, make sure you follow the guidelines. Once you have your ads on your site, you are good to go, and your blog can start to earn some money for you, virtually on auto-pilot.

With AdSense the whole idea is that when people visit your site and see the ads, they will find them interesting or related enough to click on them.

Each time someone clicks on your ads, you are allocated a fee from Google. This fee (revenue) could be anywhere from 1 cent to many dollars per click, and in further articles we will explain how to get the most from your AdSense clicks.

Unless you are very experienced in the use of AdSense, it is recommended that it is just a good foundation for making money from blogging. It is a great start to any revenue plan.

Using Google AdSense is just ONE method you can use to make money from your blog but it is NOT the most effective!

In fact, many of the professional bloggers who earn multiple six figure incomes from their blogs attribute just a small percentage of their overall income to on-site advertising!

So, if the majority of their income does NOT come from advertising, then where DOES it come from?

I reveal the answer in my FREE ebook Stop Slogging Start Blogging as well as many other secrets the six figure professional bloggers use to make huge sums of money from their blogs!

Google AdSense Account - What is an AdSense Web Site?

When a new business comes online and begins to look for ways to monetize its website, one of the most common questions they ask is, "What is AdSense?" or, "How do I get a Google AdSense Account? AdSense is the simplest form of paid advertising available to a website owner. While AdSense is a viable monetization strategy, it is not appropriate for every website. Small business websites typically have thirty or less pages. The site is more like an online brochure. Unless the website gets a lot of traffic, AdSense will only produce a few pennies per day. Other forms of advertising may provide better monetization for sites that are small or that are not yet getting enough traffic.

Informational sites, such as those provided by nonprofit organizations, would benefit more from AdSense. Even if the information they provide is not massive, their sites typically draw enough traffic to make AdSense profitable. The income, even if small, would be one way to pay for the cost of sustaining the site. I have also noticed some government sites using AdSense, as well as sites that promote or provide information about a particular City or locality.

Mega sites, on the other hand, are perfect for AdSense. It can be the main sources of income for sites such as article directories, share cooking recipes sharing sites, and any type of site that has a large database of information.

Obtaining a Google AdSense account requires that you already have a website and that you already have enough content in the site for Google to judge its quality and appropriateness for their advertising clients. I recommend that you don't request a Google account until you have at least twenty pages on your site.

Once your Google AdSense account is approved -- a process that takes a couple of days -- you can begin inserting the code in your pages. This is where the art begins. Placing ads on a page without having them screaming that they are advertisement is an art in itself. Many books have been written about the subject, but the best training there is available on the subject is a series of videos produced by Michael Cheney, who spent a whole year researching and testing AdSense on his websites. His obsession resulted in the most lively and profitable training available on the subject.

Juan Carcache got his start in direct sales in the mid 70's and soon thereafter began to create his own products and to promote them through magazine advertising and direct mail. He has been a professional consultant since 1986 and has conducted training seminars in the United States, Germany, and Mexico. His website, http://www.eGrow-Your-Business.com, provides resources to help small businesses develop their online presence. Please click here to visit and learn more about Michael Cheney's AdSense Videos.

Why Google AdSense is so essential to Content sites?

The advertisers pay google for every click on their ads and an adsense- participating webmaster gets a portion of this revenue, when the clicking is done on his/her website. In order to boost your revenues through Google AdSense, you must pay attention to making web pages of high value topics. It has been informed by adsense support that Amazon ads can be displayed on the same page with google ads. And if you combine all your profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate marketing programs, it would surely exchange to a large amount of cash.

Well, technically, someone could make some money off of 100 visitors a day, but what good does 100 visitors a day do you when it comes to generating money through your Google Adsense ads. One thing that I always do is set up a niche definite lead capture page that includes google adsense on it. I learned a lot of tools through out the process; however, there are several sources on internet where you can get google adsense ready websites. These get spider by Google bots, and so long as you leave a link back to your page, people will be able to find your page easily and your adsense revenue will go up.
What\'s great about the Google AdSense is that the ads are relevant to the content of your web page. Google will then exhibit their links the way it displays AdSense ads. The Adsense Decoded site even says that this is not something that Google has made any official statement about. Before you can understand why Google AdSense is so important to content sites, it’s important to know how AdSense works.
It is clear from the above that the shared revenue between google and any webmaster participating in the adsense program is sourced from text Ads called Ad words. So who else wants to start making money with Google Adsense? Keep updating your website, keep marketing the site, and you will soon see Google AdSense Profits. Keyword elite allows you to record your own preferences with regards to the adsense blocks and text, and your own publishing id, all in all a number of new pages can be fashioned in a matter of minutes and with a google site map included.
Much of the complaints about Google Adsense were related to their so called \"unfair\" banning of many publishers for click fraud, which to them can mean anything from clicking on your own ad unit, to spamming, to almost anything that violating the program\'s terms of service. Note that Google Ad words facilitate you to get paid for advertising and Google Adsense is when you will have to pay for advertising.
